Hi Bubblebutton,Although the lines are deep, repeated treatments with botox should help to smooth them out. It may not be completely smooth with the first treatment, but the relaxation of the eyebrow raising muscle will soften the horizontal lines. As the muscle gets weaker and you raise your eyebrows less, then the forehead will get smoother. Since our skin is alive, if you don't raise your eyebrows much with the botox, the skin can heal and the line will continue to improve.Having said that, Botox to your forehead will likely drop your eyebrows further than they are currently. Some people are born with naturally low eyebrows. In order to have the eyebrows in a slightly higher position, some people will subconciously hold their eyebrow up in a position which happens to show a little more eyelid than when their eyebrows are completely relaxed. You don't have a photo of your forehead completely relaxed, but I would be curious to see what your eyelids would look like as well as your eyebrow level. It is difficult to say whether or not you would like the botox, since you may like the smoothing effect, but not like the inability to raise your eyebrows. If this ends up being the problem, then you may be a good candidate for an endoscopic browlift. This can help reset your resting eyebrow position to where you are hold your eyebrows in this photo, but keep the eyebrows at this position without needing contract your forehead. Please consult with a board certified facial plastic, occuloplastic or general plastic surgeon for a face to face evaluation. For botox only, a dermatologist will be more than qualified to offer that treatment.Best,Dr. Yang
