Can a xenograft be removed and replaced with a different graft material during upcoming surgery?

mcaudio
I have an upcoming eyelid retraction surgery and was wondering can a preciously placed prolayer xenograft/spacer be removed and replaced with a different graft material such as a hard palate graft. I feel like the xenograft caused chronic inflammation under the lids and see through bulkiness. Which graft material provides the better results and long lasting results?
