I can see two issues you may have looking at your picture. The first is regarding your upper eyelid asymmetry. The lids are actually the same height - it's the creases that are slightly different in height. The reason for this is your left brow is a bit lower than the right brow. This lower brow pushes the skin down slightly and lowers your crease on the left side. Unless it really bothers you, I wouldn't advise any surgery. If you did want surgery, consider a left brow lift or a left upper blepharoplasty.

The second issue I see is that your lower eyelids "dip" as they move away from the nose. I think this is where the "sadness" appearance comes from. The treatment for this is to tighten the lower eyelids without removing any skin or fat. Make sure your eyes are not exposed when you fully close your eyelids. You don't want to worsen any dry eyes you may have.

Finally, make sure you have an oculoplastic surgeon perform this procedure. Hope this helps!
