Hello, I hope these words find you well. I'm posting this question because my lids appearence has been bothering me for a while now. I wonder what would be the best approach to improve their assymetry and their sadness. What should I expect from surgery? And would I be able to get a blepharoplasty when I get older? Thanks!

You may have might left upper eyelid ptosis and may benefit from ptosis surgery or there may be other alternatives to camouflage such as filler injection or skin surgery. Need more detailed evaluation to determine.
Assuming the photos are not flipped (mirror image), you appear to be raising your left brow, which could mean that you also have left upper eyelid ptosis but are compensating for it by raising the brow.
Also, your right lower eyelid sits lower than your left, and the right eye appears possibly...
