I am happy with the shape of my nose but when I laugh or smile, my nostrils flare which really bothers. Would alarplasty be a suitable procedure for me? Also can alarplasty be combined with a lip lift without any extra scars? Would the scars remain visiblr after healing?

Alarplasty or Ethnic rhinoplasty could be considered. When nostril sizes are reduced, face proportions will appear more accurately. The advantage of alarplasty is it can be done under local anesthesia, with no need for hospitalization and you can go on with your daily life.
With alar plasty the nostrils can be narrowed. The shape of the nostrils can also be changed. However it is very difficult to change the shape in a significant way. Sometimes it has to be accompanied with the tip plasty to achieve that change.
