Hi, is my nose too tricky for rhinoplasty? I don’t love my nose, although it’s straight, my nostrils are long and the tip is large. What kind of rhinoplasty could improve it, if any? I’d welcome any less invasive ideas that would improve the look. F, 39yrs, Australia

Answer: Rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for achieving a less projected and less distracting nasal appearance.

Hello and thank you for your question. Short answer- filler does not affect future rhinoplasty, and also does not need to be dissolved prior to surgery. During the surgery, I could simply remove any nasal filler I see (if present).

I agree that you appear to have a bit more swelling above your tip in the second photo. The supratip is the best area for a dilute Kenalog injection. Consider asking your surgeon for another, and I believe that eventually this swelling should dissipate. The effect of lasering on your nose is...
