Female, 39, nostrils are long & tip large, is my nose unsuitable for rhinoplasty? (Photos)

Based on your photos, you appear to have thin nasal skin with a bulbous nasal tip, and over projected tip, and a long nasal appearance. Depending on your examination, rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for achieving a narrower, smaller, and more feminine nasal appearance. Additionally, you may have a deviated nasal septum to the left that is causing your tip to veer a bit to the right. It is common to correct functional issues at the time of cosmetic rhinoplasty. You are an excellent candidate for a rhinoplasty. The over projection of your tip can be corrected and the nose can be made more triangle from the base.

Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty. I think it is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. In your case, the rhinoplasty is fairly straight forward. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport.
