I had rhinoplasty over a year ago I had this indent from the day my cast was removed my surgeon told me to have micro needling. I have done this with no movement, I am wondering if my surgeon was telling me the truth about it being able to be fixed with micro needling , he never told me what caused this I am wondering am I wasting my money trying to fix this with micro needling and is there anything else I can do?

The best solution usually is a cartilaginous graft to lift the dent. The graft can be taken from the ear or nasal septal cartilage. Microneedling helps the skin surface a lot but cannot fill up the dent

Can micro needling fix the dent in your nose? From the appearance in the pictures there is a defect of Cartlidge below the surface. I’m afraid micro needling is much too superficial a procedure to correct this. Most dents of this nature are treated with a Cartlidge graft harvested either from the posterior aspect of the ear or from the nasal septum. A more accurate assessment can only be made in person.
