Can I get a rhinoplasty if I got acid hyaluronic fillers 1 year ago?

It is helpful to dissolve the fillers before a rhinoplasty. This makes it easier to assess the amount of change needed. It is especially important in subtle rhinoplasties.

Prior HA filler to the nose should not be a detriment to undergoing a rhinoplasty. Many times patients do not even report having had this procedure and product is seen during the rhinoplasty. It should not detract from the final results.

Could you have a Rhinoplasty one year after hyaluronic acid injection? By one year after injection with hyaluronic acid most of the filler is probably dissolved away. If there is any question about residual it can easily be dissolved by injecting hyaluronidase which is the enzyme which dissolves hyaluronic acid in less than 48 hours. I have done this several times on patients who have had previous fillers and are now undergoing rhinoplasty.
