But the nurse put it in my cheeks instead. I hadn't realised she put it in the wrong place until today when I rang the clinic and asked why I wasn't seeing any results 48 hours later. I have an appointment for a week after the procedure to resolve this but, is it possible for her to change the location of the Volbella after it has set from my checks to my under eyes or would I need to have the fillers reversed?

You should have the Volbella reversed and put into the correct area. Trying to move it will not be an effective solution.

Sort answer no. If you asked for it in the trough area, it should have been placed there. Hard to say with the consult, however I usually build some foundation before filling the trough. If this was the case, my filler of choice for foundation filling will be Volift or Voluma, and not Volbella. Volbella is an excellent filler and is malleable within 12-24 hours, but not to this anatomical extent. Dr Davin Lim, Brisbane. Australia.
