Is it safe to have an x-ray after Rosacea laser treatment?

I had KTP laser performed to treat rosacea 1 week ago. Today I went to the dentist and they performed x-rays on my jaw/face around the same area that was treated with the laser. Is this likely to cause problems as my skin is still recovering from the laser treatment.

Thanks for your question.  The xray energy is different from the wavelength generated by a laser, and they should not affect each other in any way.  I haven't seen any reports of a problem with dental xrays after any kind of laser treatment, so you should be fine.  I hope you have great success with your rosacea treatment!

Quick answer is no - don't worry about it. The X-ray dose is too low to have any effect on the skin or any effect on any treatment you have had on the skin
