I have had this sun damage for a number of years. I did go to a well know dermatologist here in the city who tried a number of things: topical cream (not sure but maybe helped a little); the freezing spray stuff (very technical I realize
Answer: Light Electrodessication & TCA 25% Tried & True For Treating :"Sun Spots" So-called "sun spots," or solar lentigines, especially when large and/or numerous can be quite cosmetically disfiguring. Fortunately, they can also quite easily, quickly and inexpensively be treated by a couple of inexpensive, no-frills, decades-proven treatments that include light electrodessication or chemical removal with low strength acids, such as TCA 25%. Really no need for Johnny-come-lately, bells and whistles, relatively expensive lasers. I actually removed a few yesterday from a young physician around his eyes via electrodessication. A tiny amount of local anesthetic can be used to make the treatment comfortable and the electric current sofften the surface of the brown spot, after which the pigments can be simply wiped away gently with a moistened gauze. Healing takes place like that from a mild scrape. TCA 25% may also be used. No anesthesia is necessary, the chemical applied, which frosts, and then the pigmented spot flakes off and heals over the next week to ten days. You would be wise to seek consultation and treatment by an experienced, board certified aesthetic physician. Best of luck.

Answer: Clear and brilliant is a great option for treating age spots Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
