Moisturizer for itchy eyebrows after transplant?

Hi I'm 27 days post op eyebrow transplant. I have started to gently rub moisturiser in my brows. They r quite itchy and have dried skin. Is this alright to do? And can I harm any graphs which maynot have fallen out yet?

It is always a good idea to follow up directly with your surgeon.  After 27 days there should be no issue in rubbing moisturiser on the eyebrows.

It is common to experience some dry and itchy skin after eyebrow transplant, and is usually a sign of healing and new skin cell growth.  It should be fine to apply a moisturizer to the area.  You will not harm any of the grafts; all implanted follicles should be well-established by now.  If you rub the area and a hair falls out that is normal.  The follicles under the skin will re-emerge in the next several months.

Yes, you can use moisturizers on your eyebrows to reduce the dryness. This is not uncommon after an eyebrow transplant

Itching after hair transplantaion,  involving the recipient site can be due to a number of causes:1. Contact dermatitis to a topical 2. Normal healing3. InfectionI would recommend you visiting your surgeon. It is very important to differentiate these causes.

At 27 days post operation  eyebrow itchiness is unusual. Using Rogaine will sometimes cause itchiness and if it does should be stopped. Do not use anything without your doctors instruction. There are many lotions that have ingredients that may damage the transplanted hair follicles.
