hi i was wondering if special considerations have to be made for a male MID face lift. do the incisions stay the same? my concern is that i want to give my mid face a tighter, flatter and slightly "pulled" look. my issue however isnt due to ageing. ive always had thicker skin that never looked taught in the midface so technically im not trying to restore it to a postion it once was. i also find that my cheek implants i had years ago "peek" through better when i pull the lower eyelid up.
Answer: Mid Face lift Dear mraesthetic, There are different techniques for mid face lifts that involve variations in surgical incision placement. Idealy they should be positioned to give you the maximum benefit. Discuss these with your sergeon to see what is optional.

Answer: Mid face lift Thank you for your question. This is an interesting question and different surgeons have different answers to this. An isolated midface rejuvenation surgery in addresssing the face is not as common an indication as one might think. It's often combined with lower lid or fillers to get a better result. Classically, a pure midface lift may be achieved through a lower eyelid incision or through either a short scar facelift ( a limited incision in front of ear) or a more classic one extending into the hairline. All give access to the midface and in the case of the latter two to the Lower Face and jowls region too. Often a short scar facelift incisions an appropriate access to the midface and the rest of the face may be reached. Make sure you do your research. Good luck.
