Why am I losing eyelashes only on the upper eyelids, one eye at a time? (Photos)

Three months ago, eyelashes from my right upper eyelid began to fall out (beginning from the middle, outward) over a few weeks. Only a select few seem to grow back. I have no other visible hair loss anywhere on my body and my lower lid lashes do not seem to be affected. I once had a bald patch on my head at the age of 10 and lost a small chunk of lashes 3 years ago (18). Blood test was healthy. The makeup I have, I’ve been using for years. *I do have asthma and sensitive sinuses.

Eyelash transplants are possible but it requires two things. (1) A patient who is a good candidate (2) A good doctor who has experience doing it.

The best thing to do is to followup with your doctor and discuss with them.  However, it can be normal to have swelling after eyelash transplantation and it is not unusual for the swelling to be uneven (one side being greater than the other). Swelling usually resolves around day 4-5.
