Can you insert someone else's hair follicles into your eyelids when performing eyelash/eyebrow transplant?

My eyelashes are incredibly tiny . They are tiny, curly, and messy! I don't like them at all. It makes my eyes look different. I understand that performing eyelash transplant , doctors would have to use your hair follicles from the back of your head than insert it back into your eyelids (correct me if I'm wrong) . I wanted to know if it would be possible to remove my lashes from my lids and than use someone else's hair follicles to grow out lashes ?

In any type of hair transplant procedure, the follicles
would need to come from the same patient. Your immune system is designed to
recognize foreign proteins that come from outside the body. So another person’s
hair follicles would certainly trigger an immune response that would end up
killing these structures.

Indeed, eyelash transplant procedures are performed with
follicles from other areas of the head. This would include nape hair from the
back of the neck which actually matches the thickness of real lashes. I’ve
included a video of a young lady who had this procedure done at our clinic. You
can see what the results are like.

In most cases, regular trimming and curling would be needed
(to create the arch that you want.

Great question (....and a common one!)Hair follicles in a hair transplant must come from the person who is receiving the transplant. If we were to use eyelashes from another person and then transplant them into another person's eyelids, the immune system would reject those new eyelashes and they wouldn't grow at all.
