How much is the average cost of an eyelash transplant?

Hi, I live in Southern California (in Palm Springs but willing to travel). I am looking into eyelash transplants and wondering who can do them and what the average cost is. Thanks!

Cost for eyelash transplant

At our practice we charge a flat fee of $5,000 for eyelash transplant for both eyes.  However we only do the transplant procedure on certain patients. There are also risks involved that you need to be aware of.  This generally is not a procedure to add density into someone that has good eyelashes. Its more for patients that have no eyelashes or have had trauma such as being burned in a fire and have no eyelashes left.

Eyelash transplant don't always turn out as you may expect.  There are risks involved so you must consider your risk versus the benefit.  For example, it may be worth while for someone without any eyelash.  The cost depends on the doctor and the clinic.  It can range 3000 to 5000 in your area and you may need more than one surgery.

Cost of an eyelash transplant?

cghal,Thanks for the question. There are not many surgeon's that perform this procedure. It is very specialized, because one has to work on a very delicate and complex area. There are a lot of pitfalls.

Eyelash transplansplants

This is a very specialized transplant that carries a high risk of local infection. Be sure that you ask to see former patients yourself when you identify a doctor willing to do this.
