How long do I need to sleep with my head elevated after lower eyelid surgery?

4 weeks ago I had lower eyelid surgery. I've tried my best to keep my head elevated when I go to sleep but I often wake up on my side and find that I keep getting puffy bags. How long will it take for this to stop happening? Thanks

You can consider filler injections to the tear trough to lessen the transition from your eyelids into your cheek.  This can help to mask the thickness of your lower lids (which is actually a sign of youth from a strong eyelid muscle).  Good luck!
