Hyaluronidase is highly effective at removing juvederm, Restylane, and other HA based fillers.  Hyaluronidase injections are not likely to leave your lips looking worse than they did prior to injection with filler.  The effects of hyaluronidase injection typically noted within a matter of several hours.  It is true that you may need to have some type of filler put back in if you are not happy with the appearance of the lips once the filler has been removed.  I usually suggest patients follow-up 2-3 days after hyaluronidase injection to be reevaluated.  It may take more than 1 treatment session with hyaluronidase to remove all of the unwanted filler.

This occurs if too much hyaluronidase is used or it is put into areas with no filler there. If the proper amount is used (we most often recommend a very conservative dosage because it's always better to need another round than to overdo it the first time) then the results are pretty much set within 24 hours and you shouldn't look "deflated".
