How long after a FUE hair transplant can SMP be performed?

Is there a general guideline regarding the waiting time between FUE and SMP? I was over harvested by my surgeon back in January and have since cut all ties with him due to his lack of professionalism and unethical behaviour. Fortunately, shock loss has resolved and I have regained enough hair to camouflage the bald patches with Dermmatch. I would now like a more permanent solution. Would you recommend I see a dermatologist for his/her opinion?

Qyitstorm,While SMP can be very effective technique for decreasing the contrast between the lighter scalp and the darker hair color, it will not create the fullness that real hair  transplantation can produce.
