I have a cartilage lump/bump on the side of my nose. I have read that they are common and easy to remove?

Would the surgery be internal or external? It feels as if it is on the outside. Would it require another opening up of the nose as in rhinoplasty or can it be done externally? Worried about scar tissue. Does cartilage cause scar tissue?

Answer: Irregular cartilage or nasal bumps after rhinoplasty may require an examination to determine what might be best for you.
