Ok so I'm 147cm tall and very very petite with little to no breast tissue (also tuberous) I just had my appointment with my surgeon and he said the max I can go is 240cc HIGH PROFILE or 285cc EXTRA HIGH PROFILE.. If I chose the hp would the difference really be that much & do you think my surgeon could put in a little bit more to hp because I didnt really want to go xhp as I don't want the "fake look"

Answer: Difference between breast implants A volume difference of 45cc is really not that noticeable in my opinion. The difference in profile here is also very small, a fraction of an inch, so it does not make that much difference either. It's really not worth your time worrying about this minute difference if you trust your surgeon, you could allow the surgeon to try the two implants out during surgery, and pick the one that looks better. In consulting with patients, I always advise that it's best not to focus on a specific implant, since it rarely makes a big difference in size if you go a little up or down, but it might make a difference in "fit", and that's something that surgeon and patient have to come to a trusting agreement about.

Answer: Implant Size In terms of picking the right implants to achieve your goals, generally speaking, I consider two factors when selecting implants for my patients:1. Dimensional planning2. Gel Implant Sizing systemDimensional planning – The measurements of your chest wall are taken. Also, the breast dimensions including the height, width, and current dimensions of each breast form the basis of dimensional planning. Based on these measurements, the implant size is recommended. This will give you a unique breast implant that is suited for your body frame. However, there are some limitations of what size we can recommend. For instance, some implants may just be too big for a narrow chest wall. Your surgeon can review this with you during the consultation.Gel Implant Sizing system – During the preliminary breast implant consultation, you will be provided with an option to “try on” a variety of implant shapes and sizes. You can also visualize the possible outcomes of your surgery which helps you to get that perfect size to give you the shape that you longed for. This way your preferences are known and you can then pick a range of implants that will “fit” just right to give a soft natural fuller look. Hope this helps.Dr.BasuHouston, TX
