Fat transfer to male chest. Pain and fat loss. 4 weeks post op. Should I get silicone or permanent filler? (Photo)

Most likely your surgeon talked to you about the survival of the fat.  We only expect 45-50% of the fat to remain after healing.  We often perform multiple fat transfers to the same area to build on the previous fat.  I would not recommend fillers as the cost for that area would be greater than the fat transfer again and free silicone injections has been fraught with complications.  While pect implants are an option, muscle building for many men can achieve a shapely result in that area.  I would recommend talking with your surgeon and getting his/her thoughts on your results.  He may recommend another treatment, perhaps at a reduced cost.  Best of luck.

Thank you for your photos.  My advice for you is to find a physician who is good at fat transfer.  Unfortunately, your problem based on the photos, is best handled by Fat Transfer.  The defect is too large to be filled in with fillers.  I have performed fat transfer to many chest for improving the contour as well as improving congenital defects as well.  This is a great procedure for your problem.  In the proper hands, you should have better results.  I would find a surgeon who has corrected this problem and is comfortable performing fat transfer to the chest. It may be slightly harder to find fat for transfer in men, however, there is always fat for transfer.  ( even in bodybuilders as well )  I hope this helps.
