Answer: Dysport Hi and thank you for your question. Unfortunately this can happen if the wrinkle relaxer is injected too low although good injecting can cause this also if you have a predisposition for heaviness. Some get the feeling of heaviness and this will pass. Doing a botox brow lift can help (we try to not inject only the forehead in most cases to avoid this). Loss of the muscle pump can make it worse and I suggest seeing our blog for suggestions. The Dysport should naturally metabolise in the next 3-4 months, there is not much you can do to speed up this process. However these issues do not usually last as long as the wrinkle relaxing affect and you should see a decrease in drooping as quickly as 2 weeks. Wishing you all the bestStay absolutely safe and well,Dr. Murray from Absolute Cosmetic Medicine

Answer: Droopy eyebrows after Dysport This is caused by too much Dysport in the forehead or improper placement. In some patients, they have some inherent brow ptosis and they have forehead wrinkles because the body unconsciously lifts the brows. These patients should not be injected in the forehead. I don't understand why another doctor injected even more Dysport. (Sometimes injection into the lateral brow and depressor supercilii helps raise the brows in this case but it sounds like the doctor injected more into the forehead.) At this point, I would just wait it out. It should start to be better in about 6 weeks

Answer: Heavy eyelids after Dysport The forehead muscles help elevate your brow and indirectly the eyelids. When the muscles are weakened with Dysport (or Botox) injections this elevation is lessened and you can develop the sensation of heaviness. This is not unusual. Discuss with your professional how to modify the injection sites and perhaps attempt to elevate the brows.

Answer: Dysport and droopy eyes From the photo, the eyelid opening does not appear droopy on either side, which is called blepharoptosis. Instead, the eyelid folds seem heavy and saggy. This is called dermatochalasis. It can become more prominent after neuromodulator treatment (Dysport or Botox) to the forehead. The reason is, as the neurmodulator paralyzes the forehead muscle and, therefore, relaxes the forehead from elevating the eyebrows, the eyebrows droop. Without the eyebrow support, the eyelid folds also sag. This effect will resolve after 3-4 months, when the body metabolizes Dysport.

Answer: Dysport Hello, I am sorry you had a bad experience with dysport. Eyelid drooping can occur if the product is injected too close to the eyebrow line, the injector usually assesses areas to avoid and/or inject for best results. There is an eye drop medication that can be used to help with ptosis (eyelid droop), however, based on the picture you posted, it seems like the second injection took care of the droopiness and left you with a spock. Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done to reverse the effects of dysport wear off, it usually takes between 3-4 months for the medication to be completely out of the system. Best wishes.
