Aging After Plastic Surgery?

I was wondering. When plastic surgery is done when young it look all fine and dandy. But when you age, does it look more and more plastic looking on the face? Or is that because they did more plastic surgery in that age? Or oily skin makes it look more plastic? Help?

During the wound healing process, the swelling (edema) and contraction occur at completely different times.  Swelling occurs in response to surgery and is at it's maximum at 72hrs ( 3 days ).  The recoil properties of the skin, or the "contractile" properties of the skin will occur...

The kind of swelling you are experiencing is completely normal after the surgery you had.  It is still very early after your facelift and you will not look normal at this stage.  Your lips will get smaller as the swelling subsides.

     If you have had saggy cheeks and nose since age 16 this is likely not a sign of facial aging.  Maybe the sagging is due to position.
