Dark spot and lump 7 weeks after lip lift that included diamond procedure to lift corners, how to correct? (photos)

Asked By:over40runner in Austin, TX

I had a lip lift along with a diamond procedure (to lift the corners) on May 5th. Follow up visit is July 9. I was told to massage the area and that the doctor could re-evaluate on the 9th. (1) Is the lump an encapsulated internal stitch? If so what is the correction? (2) I have a dark line/indentation coming down from my nose that is only visible if there is light from that side and not the other. Is that a shadow caused by a lumped up internal stitch? What is the correction? Thanks!
