I got addicted to HA lip fillers. My lips won't return to old shape. Are they permanently damaged? (Photo)

After my dad died I got addicted to overfilling and plumping my lips, for 2 1/2 years every couple of months I got "over" treated and injected, my top lip was massive and out of proportion. It's been 2 1/2 years since I last had anything injected into my lips, but they have not returned to their pre-treatment shape or normal movement, I'm scared I have permanent damage from multiple 'temporary' HA fillers, how can I treat them? If all the fillers dissolved is this scar tissue? Please help

I typically dont have patients remove the piercing but am very specific on how to inject and where to inject so not to disturb the area around the piercing. Sometimes I put patients on antibiotic for a few days just preventatively.  Best, Dr. Emer.
