I have a terrible profile. I have a very undeveloped jaw that has lead to a lot of insecurities and I want to be fixed, keep in mind I am on a budget (broke college student) and the least invasive, recovery time?

Without an exam your question cannot be answered.  You will need to see an Oral/Maxillofacial surgeon to see if othognathic surgery, genioplastyor using an implant is best for your specific case. It should be noted that patients with severely weak jaws or abnormally functioning jaws maybe better treated with other facial surgery (orthognathic surgery), although a chin augmentation may be an option at a later time. These patients should seek the advice of a plastic surgeon to determine which course is right for them. Here is some information to help you make thisdecision: Candidates for Chin Augmentation - Patients whose chin profiles are weak but have normally functioning jaws are candidates for Chin Augmentation. Many of these candidates have used injectable fillersin the past to strengthen the protrusion of their chins, but are looking for a permanent solution. If you are one of these patients, thenyou are a likely candidate for chin augmentation

You have a few options to achieve a stronger-looking chin and profile while also improve symmetry. If you’re not sure you’re ready for surgery, but still want to improve and strengthen your chin and profile, I’d suggest augmenting your chin with Sculptra and/or Voluma. If you like your new look, you can make it permanent with a chin implant. Thank you for your questionThe most cost effective method is a chin implant.  This will give you some projection in the horizontal plane and fill out your chin. There is also the option for a sliding genioplasty, where your chin bone is moved forward.  This will create a more dramatic result, but also has more downtime and costs more.Best of luckDr Rodman

Chin implants are placed for patients who have underdevelopment  of the projection of the chin and mandible. Chin implants are manufactured in a large array of sizes, thicknesses, and shapes.  In our practice, the implants are placed through a small incision underneath the chin under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. Liposuction of the fatty deposits in the neck can accomplish improvement of the jawline and is complementary to the chin implant itself.

Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures, including Chin Augmentation with dermal fillers or silastic chin implants, for over 30 years.  From the photo, your chin isn't weak however there is a slight amount of excess fat and skin under the chin and the back portion of the jaw is a bit flat (weak).   Liposuction can reduce the excess skin which can be removed through a small incision under the chin.  In addition the back portion of the jaw line can be augmented with precise placement of a dermal filler...without masculinizing the jaw line and face.Hope this helps.
