How do I fix droopy eyelid after steroid shot for iritis?

Last year I suffered from Iritis. I was given Durezol and a steroid injection to the eye. Iritis is now in remission but I was left with high intraocular pressure (glaucoma) induced by the steroids. I have been using Combigan on and off for about 4 months. I also developed a droopy eyelid after the steroid injection. Ophthalmologist says both the high iop and droopy eye will go away over time. I'm feeling desperate as it's been 6 months. How can I cure my droopy eye it without surgery?Thank you.

Hello, it is unusual for you to develop a droopy eyelid after a steroid injection. Rarely after a Botox injection, one can develop a temporarily droopy eyelid that can be temporized with a drop like apraclonidine or brimonidine until the Botox wears off. You should visit an oculoplastic surgeon to investigate any other possible reason for the droopy eyelid.

it sounds that your iritis is the under control which is a big plus though the side effects are getting prolonged. If your eye specialist has told you that this will resolve then there is really no easy no surgical answer.
