I would embrace your genetic asymmetry, however, you can use fillers and botox or get surgery I just think the risk from botox is more than just using fillers , threads, or potentially a surgery. start skin care and peels and you will look better regardless. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for this very commonly asked question and your picture. While your picture does show some asymmetry, it is a 2 dimensional non moving picture. It would be best to properly evaluate you in person to see the actual 3 dimensional moving you. Depending on your in person evaluation there are a number of options which would help to obtain the look you desire. In addition to the neuromodulators (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport) and multiple fillers, you may also benefit from certain energy delivery devices (ultherapy, thermage), Threading and possible a minimally invasive fat transfer procedure such as ALMI. These all can provide subtle to very visible changes depending on your needs. I hope this helps you in your research. Have a wonderful day.Best,Robert H. Cohen, M.D.
Most people have some degree of facial asymmetry. Usually Botox and dermal fillers can make improvements without surgery. Find an injector in your area who can provide this service for you. Good luck
Hi itismelol, thank you for your photo. It is the best to visit a plastic surgeon for a thorough examination. But generally speaking, left part of your upper lip can be lowered using botox and botox can be used to elevate your right eyebrow. Injectible filler can sometimes be used to offset the unevenness of the lips. I hope this was helpful,Dr. Daniel BarrettBeverly Hills, CA
Thank you for your question. A small amount of Botox and fillers, such as Juvederm will help correct your asymmetry. However, as this is an advanced technique please make sure to have this corrected with an expert injector who has much knowledge of facial anatomy. Best of Luck!
Thank you for your question itismelol. I am sorry to hear about yoursituation. Botox is a purified protein used to address wrinkles associated withfacial expression. It is important to understand that a small amount of asymmetry is not only normal, but studies have shown is more attractive. Botox can be used to adjust the position of the brows. In the lower face a small amount of Botox can be placed in the LLSAN muscle to address the gummy smile. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
A small amount of "baby" Botox and dermal fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane will help this asymmetry. This is an advanced expert technique so please consult an expert in cosmetic facial injections. Best, Dr. Green
Thank you for your photo. It is natural for everyone to have asymmetry between the left and right side of the face. Non-surgical options to improve symmetry would be botox injections to weaken the more elevated side. You can also consider filler to help match the volume of your cheeks which will also make your smile seem crooked. Hope this helps!!Johnson C. Lee, MD Plastic Surgery
Thank you for sharing your question and your photo. It is very common to have facial asymmetry (when a line is drawn vertically, one side of the face is different than the other). Based on you photo, you may consider utilizing a neuromodulator (#Botox, #Dysport, #Xeomin) to lower your left upper lip while raising your right eyebrow (see the marked photo posted on the Refresh Dermatology Facebook page today). In some cases, your right frontalis muscle may not be strong enough to significantly elevate your right brow. If that is the case, you may consider slightly lowering your left brow. Please find a cosmetic dermatologist or cosmetic plastic surgeon who routinely injects these area as these particular muscles being relaxed are very sensitive to erroneous injections of neuromodulators. Thank you for your question. In order to fully correct your deep line in the glabella area I would start with 20 units of Botox. I would then suggest waiting 2 weeks for the full effect and if needed add a filler to the area to fully correct the deep lines. I recommend having a consultation with...
Thank you for the question, and yes you can be treated with botulinum toxin (Botox) for softening neck platysmal bands. The softening, as with all Botox treatments, is more noticeable upon contraction of the neck muscles with expression, but you appear to be a good candidate for Botox...
There are no studies that show a negative impact with botox treatments and breastfeeding. However, it is left up to you. I recommend following up with your Doctor and discussing your concerns. Best, Dr. Emer
