It sounds like and looks like you have a long upper lip with downturned commissures. Fillers can make this scenario worse and they will have a tendency to not last because the upper lip will roll in with the weight of the filler. A lip lift will help shorten the upper lip distance and shape the central lip while a diamond excision on the corners will balance and lift the outer lip. Both can be done in the office under local anesthesia with limited downtime and long lasting effects.

It will take up to 2 weeks for final results. If you remain concerned, I recommend following up with your injector. If you're unhappy with the final results, the filler can be reversed. Hope this helps.

As suggested below, you should allow about 7-10 days for the Botox to kick in. It does look like there can be more volume augmentation to your upper lip, especially to the outer corners. Also consider discussing different types of filler which are best served for the lip region. 

It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. It takes 1-2 weeks for final results after lip injections and Botox. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

queenofkitsch.   I appreciate your concern, but I would wait for two weeks before considering revision. I have never been a fan of Botox to the upper lip because of asymmetry that can occur. In my opinion,  lip augmentation and overall contour improvement can be attained with fillers alone. Try to stay patient and follow up with your injector, who I hope is a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Good luck!

I would wait at least 2 weeks for the full effects of Botox and for the swelling associated with Juvederm to subside before properly re-assessing.  It is not unusual to get additional treatments to get the desired results.  Be patient.  Follow-up with your injector.

3 days is not long enough for either the filler or the  Botox to demonstrate its full effect so give it more time. however, the fact that the lip is too small will need to be addressed

I would wait at least 10 days and follow up with your injector to see if you want more volume. For lips I often keep 0.1ml or so back for the follow up in case of asymmetry. The botox will take about 7-10 days to fully kick in. I do not think your smile is uneven but I would have put a little more volume in your top lip from my perspective. 

I do not like Botox to "plump" since it will paralyze the muscles of the upper lip, not really plumping.  To enhance your lips, you need more filler.  The effects of Botox will be gone in 3-4 months and the filler in 6-12 months.  I'd recommend getting additional filler for upper and lower lips if you're not happy with them.   If you don't trust your injector, find someone else.  Good luck.

You mention it has only been 3 days. This is completely normal to have some unevenness during the first 2 weeks, often caused by swelling and/or bruising. I recommend to my clients to wait 2 full weeks to judge their final results. If at that time anything bothers you, follow up with your injector for fine-tuning (small amounts of filler) or for hyaluronidase (to dissolve any unwanted filler). I hope this helps! Good luck!
