I had a revision rhinoplasty 3 years ago with a rib graft. i loved the results but unfortunately during my healing i got a staph infection that caused some resorption of the graft placed on my bridge. my surgeon is able to do a 3rd revision to fix the small imperfection and he said that he harvested enough rib and stored it the first time so he can reuse that and no longer has to harvest from my rib. are there risks associated with using a rib graft that has been stored for 3 years?
