Why do I have this mid cheek groove on one side after my facelift? Is this volume loss or do I need a revision? (Photos)

I had a deep plane facelift almost 6 months ago and have this mid cheek groove still on my right side. Wasn’t my facelift suppose to fix this? I’m just so confused. I do have malar edema on this side so I don’t know if that to this too ? Or is this more of a volume loss or do I need a revision? Someone please advise because I still look tired.

At six months, some residual swelling and tissue remodeling can still occur. Based on your photos, the groove may be related to postoperative swelling, scar tissue, volume deficiency, or persistent malar edema rather than a failed facelift. Revision surgery is not necessarily required. A thorough examination will determine whether observation, fat grafting, or a minor revision would provide the best improvement.
