I am 56, 10st 7, light skin. I had neck and lower facelift Jan 2024 Which left me with fatty bulges in my lower cheeks. After 12 months of hoping they’d reduce my surgeon said that he thought my jowls had effectively been pulled higher up my face. He said normally they disappear naturally with the stretching of the skin but in my case they hadn’t. In early April 2025 i had revision surgery which included redoing the platysmaplasty as my bands had relapsed and also liposuction to the cheek bulges. As you can see from the after picture this has not worked. I am seeing my surgeon again on 11June but was hoping for some ideas as to how this can be resolved as he doesn’t seem sure how to correct this. I surely can’t be the only person this has happened to? Any help would be appreciated please. These hideous bulges have sapped my confidence for 18 months now. Thank you.

I doubt this is fluid, but probably how tissue was pulled up inside and bunched. This can be revised. go back to your surgeon and discuss your concerns. this could be done in the office.
