Answer: Liposuction You did not post photos, so I cannot be specific. However, liposuction removes excess fat. some scarring does occur with liposuction. Doing more liposuction will add to the scarring. Fibrosis is scarring so this usually is not improved with more liposuction.

Answer: Liposuction to treat fibrosis The term fibrosis is often used to describe the outcome of poorly done previous Liposuction. The term is often associated with results that stem from too much fat removal from overly zealous liposuction. Went too much fat is removed from overly aggressive Liposuction more scar tissue is formed and there is less subcutaneous fat left to buffer that scar tissue. All forms of Liposuction will leave scar tissue. This is usually not a problem, if a sufficient even layer of subcutaneous fat is left behind. When too much fat is removed, all that’s left is scar tissue and further liposuction will generally only make conditions worse by removing the last bit of precious fat and adding more scar tissue.More surgery will always create more scar tissue. If having had two previous rounds of Liposuction left you with an undesirable outcome then more of the same is unlikely to improve your outcome. Correcting poorly done previous Liposuction is inherently very difficult. Best, Matt Hagstrom, MD
