I'm 5'1 and 42 years old weight 175 and had 2 c-section but lost over 65 pounds. I was thinking of doing an BBL with 360 lipo but thinking maybe need to do tummy tuck? I workout 6 days a week with cardio and weights. Wanna know if just do 360 lipo maybe extra skin could reattached with using foams/boards and good fitted faja?

Answer: Considering procedures Congratulations on your weight loss! You will have the best result from a tummy tuck with liposuction for contouring. Liposuction alone will leave you with more skin laxity and a poor result. A tummy tuck will remove excess fat and skin as well as correct abdominal wall laxity. Liposuction added to this will sculpt and define your curves.

Answer: BMI too high for tummy tuck at this time At 5'1 and 175 lbs, your BMI is 33 which puts you at a high risk for complications from a tummy tuck. Additional weight would be more desirable but I know that is difficult to achieve. Liposuction can be done at this time. 10 lbs can safely be removed during one session of liposuction. You will more than likely need a circumferential body lift. First, I recommend doing the liposuction of the upper abdomen then do the tummy tuck with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight. After these have been completed, I would recommend a circumferential body lift. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
