I had vaser lipo under chin four weeks ago. I have read that it is most likely an effect from the lipo, and damaged marginal branch nerve. I had the surgery in Thailand. There is no symmetry problem, just cannot smile normally or protrude lower lip strongly. How long I'll It take to resolve if it's going to.

Answer: Funny smile after chin lipo You are correct in that you most likely suffered damage to the marginal mandibular nerve during the vaser liposuction. The good news is that this is almost always temporary, although it can take 4-6 months. There are rare cases in the literature of this being permanent.Best of luck to you.

Answer: Weakness of lower lip after chin lipo From your photos, it does not look like your permanently damaged the nerves, as it would be drooping more. The rule of thumb is to wait 6 months for 'final results' and swelling to reduce. Just give it time and it should resolve.
