Is it normal to do Vaser followed by Bodytite during the same procedure? Is there anything wrong with doing it that way?

I'm a 33yo male undergoing a lipo procedure in 2 days on my upper and lower abs and love handles. I'm 6ft 2in and 250lbs. Muscular. Not too much fat, but dont have the best skin elasticity and just can't seem to burn through the fat over my abs no matter how many crunches I do. My Dr said he is first doing Vaser followed by BT thereafter for skin tightening. But I thought that was a bit peculiar since I thought BT already had a canula attached according to the videos Iv'e seen of the procedure.

hello prissychrispy Excess skin would usually shrink back over the area of the body, liposuction is used to reduce volume not tighten skin. Thank you for your question.
As someone with a huge amount of experience with Bodytite and trained to the highest standard with Vaser - I would not mix the 2 modalities unless there is a very good reason.
What he might be suggesting is Facetite after the Vaser just to tighten the skin which makes more sense but extreme caution and experience is required.
