Vaser liposuction on face and neck, is it successful and how long is the downtime? Is there anything I should be worried about?

I am thinking if having vaser liposuction on my neck with the fat being transferred to my face. I am 58 years ild and weigh 65kgs. Is it successfull and how long is the down time. Is there a anything in particular i should be aware of? Many thanks

hello cuukee  A short period of rest of 12-24 hours is usually recommended immediately after the procedure. Activity is largely dependent upon how you, the patient feels. Vaser liposuction has been used around the world for more than a decade. Vaser is a great product for the neck when used on the right patient.  If you have laxity to the chin/submental region that is more skin than fat, you may be a better candidate for a neck lift.
If you indeed are a vaser lipo candidate, the down time is approximately 7-10 days of which I recommend that you wear and neck compression garment to help with swelling and support for the submental area.  Post operative treatments can help decrease swelling. See a liposculpture specialist for best results

Vaser Liposuction for the neck will have about a week of down-time. You may have swelling after your procedure, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. To speed up healing, you can try adding hyperbaric oxygen, lymphatic massage, venus legacy or exilis radiofrequency treatments. Vaser lipo on face and neck is very successful. 2 weeks for downtime. The only thing to be worried about is redundant skin, which can be addressed by using J plasma treatment. In that case, nothing else is worrisome.
