Hi Alligator,You look beautiful already. Be careful with judging yourself using the camera on your smartphone. There is significant distortion where the middle of the image is overly big and the perimeter of the photo is distorted. This can make people look long and thin in addition to other distortions. You can google, "Why do I look different in my phone camera than in my house mirror?" It should give you some article as well as google images which demonstrate this distortion. Some of the articles show a model with photos take using a 24mm lens, 35mm, 50mm, all the way to 300 mm lenses. The camera on the smart phone is around 24 mm. In addition to the lens itself, there is also distance distortion. So if you are too close to the camera, it can look worse than if you are farther away from the camera. If you have photos taken with a professional photographer (which is how Kim K's best selfies are actually taken, and not actually using her own phone, you hopefully will see how great you look.Since my practice is focused on facial rejuvenation or helping my patients look younger and softer, is my appreciation for the beauty of youth. Youth = beauty and vice versa. My older patients will bring in photos of themselves when they were younger, and they looked amazing. When we look at their photos together, they often say how great they looked, but also remember how they were not confident with they own looks. Now that they are older, they appreciate how beautiful they looked when they were young, even with small imperfections. As they say, "Youth is wasted on the young."Another way to put this into perspective is to look through your parents or grandparents younger photos and wedding photos. When we see these photos, we can see ourselves in them. Often times we don't realize how beautiful our moms and how handsome our dads looked when they were younger. If they could time travel back to your age today, would they worry about their appearance or simply enjoy being young, "pimples and all." Sorry if this answer was not what you were looking for, but I hope it gives you some food for thought.Best,Dr. YangP.S.
