Is it normal for butt implants to be uncomfortable to sit on?

I am 2 weeks post op from my butt augmentation. I feel good about how I am healing, however, sitting on my implants is like sitting on a large hard bubble. I know there is probably an adjustment period, but it makes me nervous if I'll ever get use to the feeling of them. I am very thin, is there a chance they'll be uncomfortable to sit on forever? What you are experiencing at 2 weeks post-op is completely normal and always the worst 2 weeks. From here things typically get better each and every week up until 6 months, even a full year until completely softened. Glad to benof help.

Buttock implants are firmer than fat grafting and may take a bit to get adjusted to.  I would check with your doctor to see when you can sit on them.  In my practice, two weeks is a bit too soon.

Sitting on your implants will likely be uncomfortable for the first 6 weeks, during which sitting on the butt cheek should be avoided as it can cause implant malposition; during the first 6 weeks, we teach our patients how to sit on the upper aspect of the posterior thigh in order to avoid pressure on the implants.
