Can I go to a different injector for touch-up lip injections? 1 week post op.

Really what is going on is that you do not have confidence in the initial injector.  If you did, you would not be posting here, you would simply be getting your issue taken care of.  Don't feel compelled to go back to an office were you are not comfortable.

Yes I think that it is fine to see another experienced injector for a second treatment, however, I also recommend waiting about 2 weeks before getting a second treatment as it may take some time for the product to fully settle and swelling to go down.  Best of luck!

Yes, you can see someone else for a touch-up. Keep in mind, it takes 1-2 weeks for final results with lip fillers. I hope this helps. 

Thank you for the question! I would recommend you wait two weeks before you go back for more filler this way your lips have had a chance to completely heal. It is perfectly fine to add additional filler if you are not satisfied. Just make sure to check the credentials of your new injector prior to making your appointment. Best of luck! 

i see no issue in going to a new injector. we frequently see this with people traveling or moving. there is no reason that the physician should object to treating you unless they feel that the use of more product is not warranted or logical. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. We recommend waiting two weeks before any touch up with dermal fillers as it may take up to 14 days to appreciate the final result. It is best to follow up with the same injector, as they know what product they used and exactly where the product was placed. However, it is also fine to see another injector and it does not have to be start from scratch. All the best, Dr. Michon

Hi serendipity1996, Since you seem satisfied with the services of the first clinic and your issue was "dramatic results", I would suggest you go back for treatment follow-up using either Voluma or Juviderm Ultra for more volume. We often don't like going overboard with initial injections because it's more difficult to dissolve unwanted hyaluronidase than to build up volume.All the best,Justin Harper, M.D.
