2 weeks post op thigh liposuction, my feet are swollen too much. Is it normal?

2 weeks ago I did lipo to my thigh, knee , trank. My feet and my ankle are too much swollen , is it normal? What should I do to relieve this swollen?? How long it will get swollen like this

Swelling post liposuction is anticipated but by two weeks usually is resolving.  Certainly if there is uneven swelling( one ankle more swollen than the other), you have shortness of breath or chest pain then you need to seek medicsl care immediately.  Call your surgeon's office before the weekend and let them visit with you.  Unfortunately swelling takes time to resolve.  Keeping your legs elevated can help.

Yes many people having swelling of feet and legs.  This can be due to garments that are too tight and compressing circulation.  Salt ingestion can also be a cause.   Try wearing snug support panty hose and keep you salt below 1500 mg per day.  The swelling will go away  My Best,  Dr C
