2 weeks post op thigh liposuction, my feet are swollen too much. Is it normal?

2 weeks ago I did lipo to my thigh, knee , trank. My feet and my ankle are too much swollen , is it normal? What should I do to relieve this swollen?? How long it will get swollen like this

I suggest having your physician evaluate the area to see if this is realted to the surgery or not.  If scar has developed there are treatments for this.  If the area is fat, there are other options.  Best, Dr. Emer.

It is very common to only lose a few pounds (if any) with liposuction. It is not a weight loss procedure - it is for body contouring. Don't worry. 2 weeks is very soon after liposuction. You can have fluid shifts and may even gain a little bit of weight. It will take about 6 months to see...

My patients wear compression 24/7 for 7-10 days then over night afterwards.  They often like to use compression more/longer, but there is no evidence that this helps the final result.  It may decrease the swelling faster, but I find that massage, ultrasound, or radiofrequency helps...
