Hello, hope you are well. Based on these photos, in addition to sagging skin we also see platysmal banding (the two vertical lines in your central neck). These bands are caused by a thin sheet of muscle directly under the skin. The bands can be corrected with a platysmaplasty. For skin laxity and jowling, you may consider a facelift alongside the revision neck lift.Best,Dr. Tower
This can occur even after neck lift surgery. It depends on if you had no sagging after surgery and now you feeling like it has partially recurred, or if it was always like this even in the immediate post-operative period. Every patient is different with different healing and skin elasticity properties. Since you recently underwent surgery (within the year), I would try botox to these vertical platysmal bands first to see if there is an improvement, before considering any neck lift revision. You may find that the botox smoothens out the appearance of the bands to your satisfaction. Hope this helps!
Great posted photos! You appear to have had a mini neck lift. In my opinion you now need full open face/neck lift to improve the results . expect fees in the $15,000 ranges. Best to virtual consult with....
Based on your photos, I think you would benefit most from a standard necklift, probably extending into the lower cheek region to remove and tighten the stretchy neck skin and muscles. I don't think just adding fillers in the cheeks will significantly improve the degree of looseness visible in...
Hello, hope you are well. These examples are showing different things. The first few photos are demonstrating platysmal banding which occurs naturally very frequently as people age. This takes place when the anterior edges of a thin sheet of muscle in the neck called the platysma become visible...
If that bothers you at age 41, it's likely worth investing in the procedure that will produce for you the best result forever, a neck lift. Non-surgical measures (Kybella, FaceTite, Morpheus, etc.), and even non-invasive procedures like liposuction will not resolve fullness in that area from...
I would perform a secondary face/neck lift. You need to redrape the excess skin of the neck and lower face to properly get the skin to have less redundancy/wrinkling.
Although most of sensation in the face and neck returns within 3-6 months, there are patients who experience a longer recovery period. There is no a single nerve that innervates the skin in the area where you have diminished sensation, so permanent damage is not likely. It is individual nerve...
From these photos, it appears your vertical lines are being caused by platysmal banding. You could try aggressive botox to these to see if that helps relax the area, but most likely you will need a revision type surgery, if only in the center of the neck, to release those bands and bring them in...
