it feels really off to me is it bad tongue posture or..?

While mewing and practicing good tongue posture (keeping the tongue at the roof of your mouth) can help with overall facial structure and alignment, it may not fully address the concerns you have with your neck.

If your neck sits lower than your jaw and feels "off," it could be due to excess fat or loose skin in the neck area.
