How was Michael Jackson able to achieve 1984-1988 nose?

I like Michael Jackson's nose best from 1984-1988. How was he able to achieve this? Extensive skin defatting? SMASectomy? Would it have been possible for him to have achieved this look in a single rhinoplasty? Is it dangerous to try to make the nose too small too quickly? It's apparently not completely IMPOSSIBLE for thick skin to achieve a defined and small nasal tip...

Michael Jackson had many stigmata of previous rhinoplasty surgery. In fact, people may specifically state that they do not want their nose to look like Michael Jackson's after we perform surgery. I'm not sure anybody knows the names of MJ's previous surgeons and the number of surgeries he had.

He had too many operations which is obvious. He may have had several steroid shots to thin  out the skin  combined with too many irrational ended up cause the necrosis at the top

The story of Michael Jackson’s life is unfortunately, a tale of sadness and grief.
I believe he was the victim of overzealous plastic surgeons who should’ve had the insight to say no despite him, potentially requesting more surgery. I believe his total number of rhinoplasty surgeries was around 13.
People awful criticize Mr. Jackson for having poor judgment regarding his cosmetic surgical procedures. I think it’s important to remember he did not cut himself. Surgeons did this to him, and his nose was literally destroyed to the point of needing a complete nasal reconstruction.(like when people lose their nose from cancer or trauma.) surgeons should’ve retested the temptation, and simply said no when further surgery was not appropriate.
He is not a good example to use when discussing quality rhinoplasty surgery.
