I would like remove the bony bumps on the side of the nose. I don't really want to change my profile (ofc it will change abit). Would it be possible without breaking the nose? My dorsal bone is wider the the middle part anyway so it might balance out.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Just filing your nose will nit give you an acceptable result. You need your entire bridge lowered and the bones broken. Your bumpers are made of cartilage and cartilage doesn’t file very well

Answer: Dorsal hump When dorsal rhinoplasty is performed to remove the hump on the bridge of the nose, the bone is shaved down. This makes an "open roof deformity" which is then repaired by making precise cuts in the bone (called osteotomies) to close the opening. Imagine the peak of a roof being removed, then the top of the house would have an opening. The opening then needs to be closed.
