Follow up question - 47, female, Graves and TED - should I have a revision? (Photos)

Adding more details and pics!! 47 yo female with graves. Found to have TED. Upper and lower lids impacted- but lowers were bad. Had lower bleph 6 months ago. Surgeon willing to revise if I want - but eyes look and feel weird to me and did not know exactly what to ask for. Thanks!!! I’m guessing your surgeon removed skin from your lower eyelid.
I’ve gone away from doing that because it will inevitably create a premature ectropion.
Even a small amount of skin removal will create a small amount amount of ectropion.
Correcting this is challenging and you should ask to see lots of before and after pictures of canthoplasty surgery.
I always recommend getting multiple opinions before having any procedure including revision surgery.
If a surgeon creates a new problem from the primary procedure, then sometimes they are not the one to do the revision Though we often want to do corrections to maintain continuity and give patient the most care.
I suggest you talk to a few other providers through in person consultations exclusively.
Consult with oculoplastic surgeons in your community if available.
