I had my girls (yes triplets) over a year ago and have loose skin above my belly button. I've always been very active and still am. Whatever I do will have to be minimally invasive with a shorter recovery time. Stretch marks are not bothersome to me. My abdominal muscles did not separate either so I'm not needing anything corrected internally. Just the loose skin is ugly and needs to go!

You have a dehiscence of the belly button repair. This needs to be seen by your operating surgeon ASAP. It could lead to an infection and poor healing if not addressed. Hard to say for sure based on the pic but that is my sense from the pic.Good Luck,Andrew Cohen MD
Yes an Umbilicoplasty will remove the scar tissue or skin above the belly button. If there is any hernia it can be fixed at the same time. A deep suture is then placed to create an innie belly button. I use all dissolvable sutures usually so that the incision will look pretty....
