Can I fix my belly button to be a cute small innie? (Photo)

Question

Well I guess I'm considered an innie but I hate my belly button. Is it possible to make this a cute, smaller, rounder in innie. My belly button has no definition and it embarrasses me.

Thank you for your question.  I would start with a face to face consultation with a a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
who has experience with this area. After your consultation they should be able
to let you know your options. Once you know your options then you can decide if
it makes sense to have surgery.  Good luck.

To be honest it would be difficult to make your belly button smaller.  It has a wide base or stalk. I could possibly see removing some of the skin from the top to remove where the piercing was but it won't be over all smaller.  Best to leave it alone.  It does not look bad and it is an innie belly button.  You don't want to exchange what you have for a big scar around your belly button.  Sometimes the scar can look worse. Good luck!Andrew Cohen MD
