Is there anything that can be done to fix my belly button? (Photo)

Question

I was born with an Omphalocele. Immediately after I was born I had an Omphalocele repair surgery and this is how it turned out. I just want it to look like a normal belly button so I can stop being self conscious. What can be done?

I would take the entire central scar as a superioly based c-shaped flap and invaginate in a superior direction to create a hood then use a small skin graft to recreate the "innie" part of the belly button. The graft could be taken from behind the ear or from an old scar.

Yes, a belly button surgery (umbilicoplasty) can be done to recreate the umbilicus.  With a smaller scar, the result will be more successful.  The goal of the surgery is to restore normal anatomy.
