Bbl post op question
It is absolutely true that over time with aging the body changes. This occurs because of loss of collagen/elastin in our skin and changes in fat distribution as she go through menopause etc. Pregnancy, weight gain, weight loss and lifestyle (sun exposure, nicotine use, drug use, eating habits) all contribute to changes to the body. These things happen even if you never get a BBL. So, yes...all of this will affect your BBL.
It is true that our bodies change with aging. Skin becomes more slack. Things drop. This process will most certainly effect BBL results long-term. This is especially true if the buttocks are overfilled with an in ordinate amount of fat. I see results that are odd in younger patients where it’s not in proportion and I’ve also seen skin and soft tissue changes and ptosis with the same patients. Best rule of thumb is to pursue results that are natural and not out of proportion. This will provide you with a better long-term result in addition to maintaining your health.
